Leather Dog Leash with Crucifix for praying the Rosary

I discovered the rosary dog leash on a pilgrimage to our Lady of Champion Wisconsin in 2024 and immediately knew it would make my daily dog walks more purposeful and meaningful for me and my two rescues, Tucker and Rosie. In the time it takes to walk approximately a mile around our development, I find myself making my way through the rolling beads asking the Blessed Mother to intercede and beseech the Lord to grant us all peace, mercy and his divine grace.

This is a beautiful and well-constructed leash. I love how it invites me to skip taking the phone on a walk and listening to podcasts, and instead frees my ears to hear the sounds of nature while I do the rosary meditation. I really look forward to this when I walk my dog, and it’s helped me with my goal of cutting down phone use and screen time and praying more—last week I averaged only 30 minutes a day, in part due to using this leash and praying the rosary instead of filling my mind with more distractions.

I was given this leash as a Christmas gift from my parents. I walk and run with June, our chocolate lab, many times a day. It has quickly become our favorite leash! It has worn well and has become softer and more beautiful as time goes by. The rosary beads have remained in tact and it has been nice to not have to keep Hail Mary count on my fingers! I highly recommend this leash for yourself or purchase it as a gift for the dog lover in your life. Trust me, they will love it!
